Minnesota Government Shutdown Update

By Jason Rhein

The Minnesota State Capitol, currently closed.
On Thursday morning, Governor Dayton announced to the public that he had reached a tentative agreement over a budget deal with state legislatures and senators.

Dayton expressed that he felt the pressure from many government officials and Minnesota citizens to work out a deal, no matter what it was.

The government plans to open its doors sometime next week, which would also result in the reopening of all state parks and rest areas.
